Springy & Easter bits

Here are some of my new pieces I'm working on for Easter...
I love these old, images I keep coming across....

Splashing around in the pond....

So Alfie likes water then... this weekend saw Alfie splashing about in my in-laws pond, he loved it... we were all covered in muddy wet paw marks...!
Whilst he had a fantastic time... pictured here chillin' before another leap in...!!

A Treat from our garden...

Hasn't it been lovely lately....? Makes you feel so much better, about stuff when the sun shines eh..?
Alfie & I, have had some lovely walks, & were lucky enough, one early, misty, morning this week, to have three deer gently walk past us.... doesn't get much better than that.......

Flippin good read.......

I've almost finished reading Dawn French's book... 'Dear Fatty' It's a great read, it has you in tears one minute then laughing out loud the next... I like her honesty, how she shares her pain, & happiness with you.. Dawn's public persona is so very different from what we see on TV... If you haven't read it, go out & get a copy... just make sure there's a box of tissues near by, for laugh out loud, & wiping those tears away... Thanks Dawn for sharing...

All the fun of the fair....

Just back from the country living fair.... much quieter than normal, & as inspirational as always...

It was really nice to see some smaller individuals work, this time around, as some of the larger stands can all look a bit samey...

Would of loved to snap away with my camera, to share the day with you, but unfortunately you are not aloud to take photographs... Booo

Anyhow here's a few pictures I did take & of some of the things I bought yesturday...

Fingers tightly crossed.....

Well all seems to be fine on the email frount.....phwee ..!! though I do have my fingers double, tightly, crossed, it's not been easy folks, trying to save a bit of money, by changing internet providers..... anyway all seems calm in the Worth household now...in the mean time here's a peak at some new bit's I've been working on.....

Is it just me....? or is changing over your Internet provider a real pain in the bum...!?

So the first signs of spring seem to be around.... the birds are both active & noisy around our garden lately... the crocuses are bursting with pride in the sunshine, & it's so nice to take Alfie for a walk, without us both coming home completely covered in mud..!!

So who's feeling very sorry for herself.............!?

Yep that'll be me then, suffering a real heavy cold, & feeling really very sorry for myself... including pangs of guilt, being a self employed hairdresser, it's not a good thing when you're unwell, think of all that catching up there is to do.....so sorry clients...

Negatives:
Alfie looking up at me, bored & sad
A red, dry cracked nose, not a good look, & valentines is only days away..!!
Thousands of tissues scattered about
Husband comes home from work, & I burst into tears
House looks a tip
Hair floppy, dull & lifeless, including me...
Loads of time off, but feel, as limp as a wet rag

Positives:
Wrapped up in a duvet watching...
Phil & Fern well, no one calls it 'this morning' any more do they?
Loose women keep up the good work girls, you make me laugh out loud

After we walked Alfie...

We ate hot soup, & crusty brown bread, lite the wood burner, drank hot chocolate, then of course I did a little light crafting, by the way photo of Alfie with his tongue stuck out catching the snow flakes makes me smile...
