10 YeArs MaRRied...

It's been an interesting few weeks to say the least, with a very ill father in hospital, pulling together all the elements for our FAIR & celebrating our 10 years of marriage....

I can't believe where the past 1o years have gone...

From running a business in town for 14 years, to working from home, James taking a massive risk & changing his career, to building & living through 4 extensions at home, to bringing home the curly Mr Alfred our dog...

Threw to new changes & creative adventures here on my blog to web shops & fairs...

As many of you may, or may, not know, we already currently, do two HANDMAID & VINTAGE FAIRS a year, one in the Spring & another at Christmas time, & we're in the process of going to a much larger hall & are looking for more stall holders to join us…

We are looking for handmade & vintage people, making & selling these items only please, in & around the Essex & Suffolk area, sorry but we are NOT looking for ‘buy in’ gift wear stall holders, or anymore card or jewellery sellers, but would love to hear from sellers that sell vintage haberdashery & or linens.....

Another delightful morning a car bootin'..., early bird catches the worms...
An old trunk to be our storage & coffee table in our kitchen,..

I'm a sucker for an old tin... holding papers, photo's & the like, lovely baker light handles, which will replace the two on a cupboard in our kitchen, & a pot, waiting to have dried lavender resting inside it...

When I started this blog, & hand making lark, I was just someone that loved paper, making things, & was 'just' happy that someone else well, liked them too... & enough to dig deep in their pocket to buy things from me....

So I started a blog, mainly to write stuff about things I liked, had seen, & wanted to share...

Along the way I have 'met' some truly lovely people, people that have encouraged me lynn (which led me to send some work in, that then got published!!), people that have sent me lovely cards in the post saying how they loved the things they'd bought from me, & most recently people that have blogged Roseanna about me....

I just want to say... A BIG thank YOU...

Spending time with friends, catching up with family, walking the 'Mr Alfie' in new & interesting places, even though he covered himself in mud... bargain hunting at car booties, having time to 'sit' 'think' & 'breath' & deciding to make changes....
